What is everyones thoughts on if I were to mail, or otherwise approach authors of college papers or research materials found online elsewhere. I'de ask each author and or copywrite holder for the right to republish thier materials, if it's a usefull addition to reresource. The granted permissions will be veiwable to all via a subpage along with contact info for removal if for some reasons the permission was in error or wrongly given by persons, or unauthorised persons,. This will then fullfill the requirements layed out by the DMCA and most worldwide copyright law. I am also debating a rating poll for these to see basically if it should be kept, or tossed.. I believe this will be instrumental in resparking interest in this site. (this will need some code changes to base)

I have worked out the details of the messaging here and will soon make it a reality-in testing. but to only admins, hopfully I can pull this part off with no access to change the main code base, otherwise I'll just give the changes to jam to put in place when he has time.

User prefs will follow these two, hopefully by then we'll be generating some traffic again. This will definently be a change to base code.
